I must make this wooden bird? Photo included.?
I need to prune http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm283/SanDRa101214/0112101219.jpg this bird for my physics class asked me where I could do or what? I live in Chicago, Michael is an art and craft shop and planning IM to go, but I do not know if I would be able to cut the birds! Please help me I need ideas or places I can go around Chicago (I can not make paper, as it must be balanced finger. gravity experienced central reason why I am a size of a bird) would aprreciated help Thanks!
If you do not need when it is difficult, I use 1 / 8 "or 1 / 4" plywood cons (Sold to Michael). Trace the image onto the wood and if you have a friend with a jigsaw (tool) it would be very easy to cut, even for a beginner. If travel was not available a jigsaw (saber saw) would be the best election (which seems too small for a jigsaw) These are relatively cheap and are sold in hardware stores, etc. .. Michael might even have them, but would be more expensive. Building a simple birdsmouth or air V model (Often used in marquetry) to make cutting easier by taking a piece of wood, 3 / 4 "thick x 8" -12 "long and cut V front and back strap to a table. Sit that the model is about shoulder height and place a piece to be cut on the V. With handle of the saw table and starting to cut teeth in a hair line, move / rotate the part necessary for cutting V When in the sand makes the edges smooth with 120-180 grit sandpaper.
