Can Modeling clay be put in a 500 degree oven without going on fire?
depends what modeling clay you have. If you have plasticine it will melt. If you have water based clay which is not dry it will explode, but if it is dry nothing at all will happen to it. If you use polymer clay it the colors will probably change to something you don’t want.
Read instructions on package and follow them.
