Rotary Tool: Versatile Tool Performing Professional Applications
A rotary tool is a portable and handheld tool having a rotary tip that can be attached with variety of attachments used for performing different task. This tool has carved a niche for itself among the customers due to its compact size, versatility and high speed. All these features of rotary tool simply make them incomparable with huge and bulky power tools. The various functions which can be performed through this tool are cutting of various objects such as fibre glass, wood, nails, marble, wallboard, plumbing pipe, and heads of stripped screws. The other functions of rotary tools are removing grout, removing window pane glazing, shaping metal, sanding in tight spots, etching, engraving, polishing, sharpening tools, and grinding etc. Rotary tools are extremely versatile tool, which is widely used by common man to perform many professional applications.

Cut out tools also has vast array of attachments such as circle cutter, grinder, cut-off, sander, polishing attachment and guided bits. Circle cutter allows the operator to cut perfect circle in any type of building material, grinder allows grinding, cut-off allows cutting and polisher allows polishing. Whereas guided bits allow the operator to cut wall board around electrical boxes without damaging the box.
Basic rotary tools are also available with various attachments such as router attachment, router table, drill press, flexible shaft, chain saw sharpener, and bits etc. Router attachment allows the operator for freehand routing, router table helps to use the tool as a table mounted router, drill press converts the tool into a mini drill press, flexible shaft allows the flexibility of holding the tool like a pencil that provides greater control to the operator, chain saw sharpener allows the tool to be hold at perfect angle for sharpening chain saws, and bits are designed for routing, engraving, metal cutting, etching, metal shaping, polishing and for many other purpose. Both the types of rotary tools are suitable for different types of material like cut-off rotary tool is better for heavy work with hard materials and basic rotary tool is better for small jobs.
