I can’t remember the title of a book…?
I read it a LONG time ago, and I’m pretty sure I loved it, at least back then, but I CANNOT remember the title of it!
I remember that on the story there’s a little boy, and he goes to this place, a world with “no edge”. I think he’s someone important there, or he lets the power get to his head or something.
A flying beast was in the book, I think, and he rode on it, I think. And they reached this one place with no stairs, so they tried to carve stairs for him but all the tools broke or something when they tried to carve.
Also, to advance, he had to keep making wishes… but the more wishes he made, I think he lost his memory or got weaker or something…
Someone PLEASE refresh my memory!
It kind of sounds like The Neverending Story to me. However, I haven’t read it in a long time so I can’t be sure on the specifics.
