Question on Improving a table saw?
Because budgeting and electrical and space limits, only was able to get a table workplace type saw (link below) Ok, this is what I've done so far to improve the configuration. 1) made some food and large side tables that prudent are height adjustable exactly aligned with the table saw. 2) Do away with the metal bracket and mounted the saw table into a table base of solid wood Mount Everest could bear. Ok, the table top surface is some type of reinforced plastic to wear a little (permanently) When the plywood and other poems of materials rought was surveyed. Im curious to know what you think about the next idea. I was thinking about having a piece of solid cast iron / steel, etc, but very, very fine to put on this surface. The piece would not conflict or extend beyond the rack and pinion system and reflect the plate. Thanks
get a very thin plastic strips of high density. these can be glued to your table saw surface without interfering with the blade. you said the table was hard plastic, make sure the glue is used does not melt the plastic. I have both wood and glue strips Rockle catalog.
