casting molds for glass
ok need to make a bespoke waterfeature – it will be cast out of concrete but i need a mould to be made out o?

of fibre glass first – the problem is finding a produst to cast the fibre glasss – it has to be a bowl of 1.5m diameter and 800mm high from centre – once i have that i can cast the fibre glass mould then with mould cast a concrete product allowing me to reuse the fibre glass mould again and again – any ideas or links for where i can get that ‘male’ or how to make the shape before i fibre glass over it thanks i live in uk? check website out – we usually use sandmoulds for our ovens and bath basins but this seems to big to warrant that. thanks www.bluestonewater.com – 01934 876355

I would make a wooden or mdf frame with the approximate shape then fill with expanding foam and smooth the final shape with plaster.
