clear casting resin how to
how do I make a mould of my arm and cast it in clear resin ?

I want to make a mould of my hand and arm and cast it in clear resin I have no Idea how to do this, I want it to be crystal clear if possable when finished

Here is a link for making a mould of a hand in something called ‘alginate’ (which looks like a cold-pour skin-safe version of vinamould.

The video shows them pouring resin in.

The results look pretty good though, to get the arm in too, presumably you’d need a longer receptacle.

In the old days, you would have needed to make a two-part cast with plaster.
