how to make a latex prosthetic?
Alrighty. for now I have my costume for halloween SPFX mask zombie gore and I like a chest. but halloween none of my local stores have one and i cannot one end of the Internet. so I guess ill make one. I have the basic idea of how to make a prosthesis I just want to be sure. so i need some oil based clay? model, then I will to the desired prosthesis. then liquid latex coated in several layers, then peel. Finally, painting. Now what kind of paint I need to paint. "Halloween makeup I can use regular battery? and what would be the best way on how to apply to me. spirit gum, liquid latex, or just use straps. thanks for the help!
Yes to base clay oil unless you want to build on yourself, remove and reapply it at night. The rim should be thin so you can hide it with makeup – that makes it quite fragile for retirement above and reuse. Apply talcum powder or cornstarch to latex to prevent things from sticking to itself while being stored. You Use ordinary theater Halloween makeup on it, just like skin. You could use the spirit gum to hold it on. WARNING: Your hair chest and spirit gum (or applied latex) are a painful combination for removal. I would seriously consider shaving the area in which stuck down there if you have hair (not to check if they were men or women before responding.)
