modeling clay that hardens
I'm making a model of SoHo, a neighborhood in New York, HELP! I use clay wat how long will it take etc?

I do not know wat i should use clay, soemthing easy to mold into the basic shape of the building. I want to be able to paint on it and still have a bright color bright. I want the clay to think stick to foam board with hot glue. I do not want a clay that hardens after or baking. (Combi only) I have only locked in district 30 "20", a lot of work too? I will combine if r buildings close together, and I will just make the basic shape of the Builder, I will not make all details / bump. I have now until January 17 to complete this project, while I have school going on … How long will it take? More tips?

This site shows narrow http://www.sohonyc.com/map.html 8 blocks wide at the top and five blocks long up and down. About 35 blocks total. If you are making the entire 30×20 area which means that each of the rectangular blocks will be about 2-2.25 inches wide and 5-5.5 "long suspect polymer clay (sculpy) would the best choice (hardens least not over 340F) sure how good it needs painting or like to be as thick as each block. Molded plaster and combined in different ways and carved might work, but if the mold no, it takes a while Sculpy will show you the results immediately. http://www.nyctourist.com/soho1.htm This photo gallery shows many buildings are 3-4 storey block with multiple fronts. I think that to do justice, which will have a mold base or building block and clays in the press after carving his face to give an idea of the construction features. If you can make a soft clay (or plasticine Sculpy) could make a plaster cast that (in sections if necessary) and press the clay in plaster to make it free to modify buildings.
