Smooth the surface with hand-sanded epoxy resin for the mold?
Heck, I have a sculpture that I created with the layer outer surface is Blehm epoxy. I have it in the way I want, now I have come to a mirror finish. I'm not worried losing the fine details, such sculpture, but a complete smooth surface is very important. Instead of sanding with sandpaper endless finer, is it a layer that I can apply for and obtain a smooth shiny surface? Yes, I'm lazy! Of course, the key element that I'm able to throw the release epoxy I will do, again using shield Blehm epoxy resin surface. For instance, acrylic finishes are off limits. Are there others that should be avoided, or it would be good in this case?
Try using an epoxy diluted (use acetone) for which an agent Upgrade has been added and the rotation of the object slowly during cooking. You must come with a smooth, even finish surface, but you lose information. Remember to use a release agent.
