Does anyone have simple instructions on how to use glaze (clay)??

I try to make letters for my birthday cake with icing girls … I bought a mold of the song …. I did a lot according to instructions (1 cup + 4 tsp tablespoons of water) and was in the pan for 24 hours and has not yet been established. I can not get out .. Please help!
