Can polymer clay be used as a mold for polyresin?
I need to make some polyresin plugs, but have nothing readily available in my home to make molds for the resin except polymer clay (FIMO), but I’m concerned that the polymer clay, when hardened is still too porus to get a smooth form for the polyresin?
If anyone has experience with this, please reply back. If no feedback/negative feedback comes back, I’ll just spend the extra tenor to get the rubber stuff to make a mold.
Ironic tho that I must wait for the rubber to take form/harden, and THEN wait for the polyresin to do so as well. Hmph
