non drying modeling clay
i bought non drying modeling clay will it ever dry?

That depends on exactly what *kind* of clay you bought.

If you bought true “modeling clay” (also called plasticine**), it not only will never dry in the air, but it can’t be hardened in any way (it would only melt if heated in an oven, etc.)

If you bought a polymer clay***, it will never dry in the air either (it’s oil-based so there’s no water to “dry” out) but it will firm up a bit when it’s not warm from use, etc –also the amount of softness before hardening depends on the brand.
Polymer clays must be heated to cure (polymerize, which is a chemical reaction) and harden, and as I said they’ll never “dry.” (If they’re exposed to too much ultraviolet light or heat in transport or storage though, they will begin to firm up and partly cure.)
Check this page for hardening/curing polymer clays:

(btw, “air-dry clays” are the ones that will *dry* and harden just from exposure to the air, and usually the drying can be speeded up in a low-temp oven though that’s not necessary …there are many types and brands of air-dry clay)

**some brands of plasticine would be ClayToon and Plastalina, and various cheapie brands like RoseArt, etc
***some brands and lines of polymer clay would be Premo, Kato Polyclay, Cernit, 2 Fimo’s, and a bunch of Sculpeys…plus a few others outside the U.S.:
