CLAY GUN WITH 19 SHAPE DISCS, TOOL SCULPTING EXTRUDER
can this be used instead of a sugarcraft gun? for things like hair, grass, rope etc??

You don’t mention the brand name but sounds like one of the “clay guns” made by Kemper, Darice, Sculpey/Polyform, etc. Those were originally used for earth clay, but later used for polymer clay.

The Sugarcraft extruder does the same thing but may have a different number of type of dies to go in it, has a trigger rather than a plunger, and was originally made for extruding sugar pastes/fondant/etc which is softer than many clays.

So yes you can use a regular “clay gun” or a Sugarcraft extruder or one of the others out there to make ropes, and other shapes, from most “clays” or from fondant/etc. They will differ from each other mostly in the dies available for them, the method of extruding, the size of the barrel, and whether or not you can make a “pusher” to make the extruding easier on your fingers/hands or find something that will work.
