best wood for making own clay modelling tools?
I am wanting to make my own modelling tools for clay sculpting at a professional level. I would like my tools to be nice to use but also last a long time.
I have tried getting hold of off cuts of Boxwood but it seems to be in limited supply. I was wondering if any one knew of any other wood i could use which would do as good a job? from their experience? and if so where would i be able to get hold of a small supply to make a few tools???

The woods you are looking for are called “Exotic Hardwoods”.
Sometimes you can find samples on line that may be big enough for small tools. Hold on I will try to find a site……
