sculpture materials and techniques
Does anyone know a site where you can learn more about the making of ceramic sculptures in particular?

I do a sculpture in a class ceramic, but I want to know more about it (for example, techniques and materials available.)

All the techniques used in pottery class can be used to make ceramic sculptures, specially built by hand (if you can learn and change the way). What you can try pinching the clay forms to be created, formed in the building by addition (adding more clay to clay), construction by subtraction – sculpture to achieve the shape you want (Zero, etc.) You can even roll a slab, then create or parts turn sculptural forms. Honestly, I do not recommend any site, although I knew one. This is one of those "practical" things. You really should consider taking another class, that the ceramic sculpture – and the techniques there learning in the study. While you're there, you might want to consider taking only "sclupture mainstream. Job Information with a variety of media. Although my degree is in sculpture, ceramics, sculpture I made of wooden art sclupture welding is the subject sclupture mixed media, etc. The great thing about the learning and mastery of different media is that once you have yet, you can combine the media – really expand their horizons and open your mind to more possibilities. Randal (above) had a very good idea of the mold. It's something I learned in sculpture in general (I think it was the University Sculpture II), and this is something I do regularly. I'm not sure what you'll learn about the manufacture of ceramic molds, but it is certainly worth checking out. Good luck to you! :)
