sculpture tools
What tools were used for sculpture during the Italian Renaissance?

When artists would make sculptures how would they make them look so real? What type of special tools?

The same sculpture tools that are used now and were used in the times of the Greeks and Romans, and by masons doing decorations on old churches and cathedrals. You need to google ‘sculpture tools’ and get a list, and the curators of sculpture at the British Museum or V&A would probably have information or links for you. The making of an object to be real would be ‘skill’. Some people have it naturally or develop it, and some don’t (I tried sculpture at Camberwell School of Art and failed miserably).
