I made a mold of a key by using silicone, and now I need to know what to drip into it that would be strong nuf?
Recommend some ideas for me. Also, if anything, what (already)solid should it place into the main part of the mold?
If you don’t understand what I mean, well, I want to drip something, for example candle wax, so it hardens into the shape of the key. I would not use candle wax thouhgh because it would be too weak.
Please help me with my personal experiment!
Plastic bottle idea will probably be too brittle, so will any thing else you can do at home. Not to mention the inaccuracy dripping stuff into a silicone mold. The best idea would be to match the general key shape with a key blank at a key shop and shape it by hand to match the silicone. There is a shop in my hometown that still uses this method.
