how do i build a wooden boat?
I have an idea of building a simple boat(a box or ssomething)
but how do ppl make the curve on the boat like / because wood cant bend…. do you carve it to take that shape or what
how do i cut it out?
There are two ways to bend wood
1. Cold mold – just bend the puppy
2. Steam bending – heat the wood and bend when still hot. It is great fun, and very cool.
Take a course at Mystic Seaport. They can give you the basics.
