Does Dick Blick stores carry everything that’s on there website?
I’m looking to pick up some sculpting supplies, and between ordering online versus going to the store, they both have their pros and cons. BUT I’d only want to go to the store if I knew that everything I was looking for was at the store. I’m looking to buy a couple pounds of carve able plaster, and if everything I need is at the store, I wouldn’t mind hauling it around on the train. I don’t want to have some of what I need and have to wait for an online order to come in, while staring at the stuff I’ve already bought. It would be nice to talk to someone about the difference between DB’s Cast and Carve vs Crea-stone, but I know there’s no guarantee that the staff at the store is going to have experience with every product on there shelves.
Also, are the sales on the website the same as in store?

Just went to the one at 42 S. State Street last Friday. They have seemingly everything on their shelves. I would definitely call ahead to make sure they have what you’re looking for in stock. I’m also sure you will be able to find someone to talk about the Cast & Carve or Crea-stone. I struck up several conversations with different employees on my last trip in and they all seemed very knowledgeable about the products they were selling. As far as I know the sales online are valid in the store itself, unless it specifically states online price only.l
