HELP! Need a topic of biomimicry! ?
I need a topic to write about in my Biology class about biomimicry.
Remember, biomimicry is the art and science of casting an inquiring eye on living organisms and natural systems, and from them drawing inspiration for efficient new technologies. In other words, using things in nature to create new technologies.

In Kew Garden they based the new alpine house air conditioning on the way termite mounds control the internal temperature and humidity with out engines to provide power. It is all in the design being called the “labyrinth” cooling system.
“Incoming air is exposed to a large surface area of concrete by passing at low velocity down a 100-foot (30-meter) tunnel beneath the structure. The walls of the tunnel are cooled by night-time air, and they in turn cool down the hot outdoor supply air in the summer.”

Other non-powered systems use the way wind moves near impediments in its path. The wind meets an obstacle, pauses and builds up pressure. This forces nearby air to speed up as it is pushed away and all flows around the blockage.

They have found a fungus that produces a form of diesal fuel as part of its biosynthetic pathways. This may begin a new production method other than drilling for oil.
