I’ve got two choices, women your opinion please?

its the future mrs kumkuats birthday, i’m thinking of making her an engagement ring from either whats left of the fairing from my last motorbike(fireblade number 2 rip) or a claddagh ring carved from a pebble we found on the beach when we first decided to move in together. i asked her to marry me last year, off course she said yes! but i think she wants a ring. i would rather suffer stone chippings in my eyes to prove my love for her before i go to a pawnbrokers to buy a hocked ring. ladies what would you prefer? diamonds and gold or love hewn from stone?

The claddagh definitely. That stone ring you carve yourself will remind her of your special memories every time she looks at it. If you are unsure of your skill you migjht approach someone who does this sort of thing. If money is still the issue perhaps you could barter another skill or labor in exchange.

I have never been impressed by diamons or gold. They are expensive, cold and if lost…well, you just lost a chunk of change for a chip of old coal.

Ah, but the memories and sensitivity you show thinking of crafting a ring for your love is monumental.

You rock…I wish you the best of luck.
