How to Cut Down Your Expenses during Villa Vacation
Some of us might be wondering how to cut down the expenses while having a vacation at a private villa in Bali. Numerous smart and practical steps are worth doing in order to reduce the unnecessary expenses while holidaying at a luxury villa. You should make a good plan before booking a desired villa in Bali. Ask the reference from your friends or colleagues who have been in Bali and stayed at a villa. Ask your friends what is the best, most flexible, most affordable and generous villas in Bali that could give you unique personalized services and advantages just like you need and that you think could help you reducing your expenses.
After your friends recommend you the villa that is affordable and cozy, then you can start emailing the agency to ask the best possible deals. If you can do amicable and approachable communications with reservation staff, then it would be easy for you to get more benefits e.g. free massages, free car charter, free tour, etc. as the additional benefits. Choose a villa that has its own fully-equipped kitchen so that you would be able to cook by yourself. You can do the grocery shopping in the grocery supermarket or shops near your villa or let the staff help you doing the grocery shopping.
Bali is heaven both for backpackers and jet-set communities since it’s easy to find everything from the cheapest to the most expensive stuffs, including the foods, the shops, the villas, and transportation. Then when you stay at a private luxury villa and look for cheap transportation, you can choose to rent a motorbike or scooter, as in Bali it’s better to drive a motorbike especially when you reach the small roads. You can save much of time, money, and energy. A motor bike costs cheap, about USD 5 per day excluding gasoline. If not, small car would be also affordable; you can get it at less than USD 30 per day.
Another thing you should consider to do in order to tighten your expenses is by going out to the affordable entertainment centers, instead of going out to exclusive sightseeing objects. Going out to the beach is another fun yet affordable activity where your children can swim or surf under your supervision. Bring your own snacks or drinks; you can save much cash that way. Take your family and kids for a one-day tour in Bali to the museums, art galleries, Bird Park, Botanical Garden, lakes, hiking, cycling in the village, or visiting temples where you can see closer the locals do their rituals and ceremonies. It will be more valuable for your kids to receive more edutainment.
Buying souvenirs or clothes will be more exciting if you go to the locals’ shops or affordable markets thus you can bargain hard, instead of buying things in the shopping malls as you are like paying double than its normal selling price. You might wish to visit the stone and wood carving villages in Tegal Alang-Ubud, then stay in a hotel in Ubud, where you will be spoiled for choices; of course all is at reasonable prices. Kerobokan is also great place to find moderately-priced items, from clothes, souvenirs, wood carvings, furniture, or antiques. Visiting the night market is also well worth doing, here you can experience the real thrills without spending much.
