PC machine for milling jewellery models?
I want a mill that will connect to the Pc so that I can design a 3d image on the computer and have the mill make a 3d wax model (for moulding and casting). Any advice on an entry level machine? Or where I could get one second hand? Thanks!
You should talk to someone who uses AutoCAD or Solid Works in a teaching or learning situation. They are up on the industrial side of things. They might know who uses them, and who makes them. Also, you might check out some of the larger jewelry-supplies suppliers like Rio Grande or Geisswein. Thier customer service might have an answer for you.
