Photoshop PURE black and white?
I need to do an effect, similar to using the “threshold” on a picture.
It’s for christmas and my brother is using a machine to carve(emboss?) a picture of my dad into wood.
The picture has to have NO shading at all (blur) and no color. The picture needs to have 000000(pure black) and FFFFFF(pure white) as the colors, and nothing else.
Anyone have any idea how to do this?
I used the threshold effect, but that just makes the picture VERY hard to see… The only thing I could think of so far is to copy and paste different cutouts of different settings from the threshold effect and combine them into a visible picture.
Go to Image>Mode>Indexed Color… Uncheck the box that says “Transparency” and make sure it says Forced: Black and White. Now change the number of colors to 2, and change dither to none.
