Manali is the important hill station in the himachal prasdesh near of the kullu vally. Manali is the administrative part of the kullu district. The temple is noted for its four-store pagoda and exquisite wooden carvings.
Rahla waterfalls lie some 27 km (17 mi) from Manali at the start of the climb to the Rohtang pass, are the beautiful Rahla Falls at an altitude of 2,501 m (8,205 ft).
Solang valley popularly known as Snow Point, is 13 km northwest of Manali.
Manikaran , located about 45 km. from kullu on the way to Manali is known for its Hot Spring near the river Parvati.
Rohtang located about 40 km from manali is one of the most famous snow point, but its closed during winters due to snow.
Transport
Manali is well connected by road to Delhi through NH-21 and Nh1. which goes on to Leh and is claimed (incorrectly) to be world’s highest motorable road. The nearest airport is atBhuntar , which is about 50 km (31 mi) from Manali. Currently, Kingfisher Red operates daily nonstop services from Delhi, Air INDIA provides twice a week nonstop services and Mdlr Airlines provides services to Delhi six days in a week..
